Free. Everybody wants something free with their credit card points. But that euphoria is distracting you from greatness.

Many people have learned the basics about credit cards points. Once that 100k bonus hits you feel like you’re on top of the world. The first flight you see, you book, nobody can stop you because that trip is FREE. You brag to all your friends, they think you’re crazy. But what if you are playing right into your credit card company’s hands? Let me explain why.

If you have ever booked on the credit card portal your heart should be skipping a beat. They got you, they have captured their prey. But why? a $700 flight for $0 is awesome isn’t it?

 

Nope, that’s a very bad deal in the credit card points “game”. You can do a lot better than that value, but you can also do a lot worse. Be happy you’re ahead of most of the world. There is so much to get into, but you need to transfer your points OFF Amex OFF Chase OFF Capital One, etc. I will explain how to use the countless tools shortly, but please, do not rush it and burn your points in the meantime.
